AR Coated Laser Optics
Overview
Key Problems
OPTOMAN has fought many battles. From the experience gathered throughout these years, he highlighted main problems laser processing faces.
Thermal Lensing effect.
Short duty cycle and lifetime of machines caused by coating absorption and laser damage.
Beam profile deformation.
Polarization sensitivity requires beam delivery components to be optimized for s and p at the same time.
Multiple wavelengths coverage in the system.
What can OPTOMAN do for the laser processing market?
Lower cost of ownership due to enhanced lifetime.
OPTOMAN’s concentration on high LIDT and enhanced lifetime IBS coatings allows industrial players to forget about headaches when components have to be replaced after a short period of time. Learn more about this here.
AR Coated Laser Optics for Laser Processing
Lenses from OPTOMAN are IBS coated and optimized for high laser power applications. This means that they can be used for intracavity, multi-kW CW, and ultrafast pulse applications.
For the sake of performance, we choose optimized and low absorption fused silica so that they are free of thermal shift during operation. Coatings being near bulk, durable and non-porous provide negligible fatigue and insensitive environmental performance and are perfect for Laser Processing applications.
